Who is Travis Shultz?
I'm 37 years old, a father of four children, lifelong West Virginian
and after learning about the lack of choices on primary and general election ballot boxes for WV 3rd Senatorial District.
I decided to make things interesting.
West Virginian's work too hard for too little to have the same or similarly choices each and every time.
What I will fight for.
I believe firmly in the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
This includes the 2nd Amendment.
While the raise in mass shootings need addressed, removing guns from law-abiding citizens is not an option.
Just because the State Government can do something doesn't means it needs to. One of advantages of local governance is the able to adjust and change quickly should issues arise.
Don't believe me? Just try fixing bad legislation down in Charleston...
My campaign is 100% self funded. Our current Senator receive a special interest donation earlier this year for more money then my entire campaign's budget.
I will not accept special interest or Political Action Committee money.
I feel that teachers have a voice
with their representation.
School administration and the bureaucracy machine has its voice.
Students and their parents currently need a stronger presence in the capital and I intend to provide it.
Elected positions should not
be a permanent career.
Two terms for all offices will help keep our elected officials humble.
Every generation needs a
chance to step up and serve.
WORKING WITH OTHERS
I'm happy to listen and
work with everyone.
Your political affiliation
does not matter to me.
I'm here to represent
everyone in the 3rd District.

VOTE FOR PEOPLE YOU BELIEVE IN
It is important to vote for people who you believe in. When people vote for the lesser of two evils every single year we only get evil. Currently Washington DC and Charleston, WV is a mess.
Here are a few candidates who would like to be part of change and help clean up the current mess.
